ComboXCAT

Using only 1U of EIA rack space (1.75" high), ComboXCAT is a modular KVM Drawer/Switch designed to answer today's needs of local KVM management at the rack along with remote access over IP, with built-in flexibility and modularity that supports growth.

ComboXCAT's core component is a single-port 1U rack-mount KVM Drawer, supporting either USB or PS/2 interfaces.

A modular KVM switch can be mounted to the back of ComboXCAT, allowing it to control and access multiple servers – any mix of USB and PS/2 servers – at the rack, using only 1U of EIA rack space (1.75" high).

Available in 8- 16- and 32-port density, 1U ComboCAT KVM switches utilize CAT-5 connectivity to servers using CCP "Dongles" supporting any mix of USB and PS/2 servers.

Available in 8- and 16-port density, 1U ComboX KVM switches utilize 6- 10- and 15-feet (coax) KVM cables (PS/2 or USB) to connect to any mix of USB and PS/2 servers.

Combining excellent server rack management with real-world remote-access needs, ComboXCAT features an (optional) IP Module, providing a remote administrator anytime, anywhere access to all servers over IP (Internet, WAN, LAN) from a standard Web browser.

For additional functionality and greater flexibility in controlling rack-servers, an optional ComboXCAT Remote Desktop enables control of the unit from an extended console over CAT-5 cable up to 1000 feet away, with a built-in 2-port KVM switch at the remote desktop (for controlling a local computer). 

ComboXCAT KVM drawer features a fully functional laptop-style membrane keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad and an integrated touch-pad pointing device.  ComboXCAT also features a 19" or 17" front-folding laptop-style active TFT LCD flat-panel tilting display that requires little pullout to tilt open, and – as a result – doesn't protrude into the aisle space in front of the rack.  Protected by anti-glare tempered glass, ComboXCAT flat screen can be tilted up and back to adjust to any comfortable viewing angle.

Equipped with industrial-grade, heavy-duty slide-out rails with depth-adjustable rear mounting support, ComboXCAT KVM drawer can easily be mounted by one person in any standard 19" 4-post rack available in the market.
