Comit-XL
Designed to accommodate server of any brand, with varying depth

A unique frame and rail design supports rack-mounting equipment of multiple vendors and of multiple depth.

Comit-XL server racks ship with vertical rack-mounting rails featuring square holes, compatible with rack-mounting leading server brands like Compaq, Dell, IBM and HP.  Combined with M6 mounting screws and cage nuts, Comit-XL server racks are compatible with rack-mounting any networking products conforming to 19” EIA rack-mount standard.

Comit-XL multi-depth design provide for multiple rails to support equipment with multiple depth within the same rack.  The position of the vertical rack-mounting rails is continuously front-to-back adjustable, allowing rack-mounting any vendor’s equipment, and preventing equipment’s front handles from interfering with the front door.

Built-in security features, combined with “real world” functionality and manageability

Comit-XL racks keep your IT investment secured with lockable front and rear doors.  Side panels open easily by releasing a unique quick-release finger latch that is accessible only once the front door has been opened.

Optional RackBotz monitors your racks and datacenter for fire, high temperature or humidity, and unauthorized entry.

Comit-XL rack fit directly over one raised-floor tile (24” in width) and offers anti-tip support for both the front and the back of the cabinet, to prevent the cabinet from tipping over when servers are pulled out for maintenance.

For additional security Comit-XL rack can easily get bolted to the floor, and its rigid, fully welded and reinforced construction of heavy duty 14 gauge steel can hold up to 2,000 lbs of equipment.

Ample room to quickly install, service and provision resources, with maximum deployment and expansion flexibility

Comit-XL racks combine greater room inside the rack with your choice of heights in 44U or 23U, in 24” width.

Deeper 42 inches form-factor maximizes the use of space within your rack, and easily accommodates the increasing depth of next generation servers and storage products.

The ability to mount equipment such as PDUs or KVM switches in a "Zero-U" space on the sides of the rack allow to maximize rack space.

A large range of accessories such as multi-depth shelves, rack-mount flat panel consoles and keyboard and mouse accessories further expand the daily usability and functionality of your Comit-XL racks.

Special attention to cable management, to make a "painful" subject real easy in real life

Comit-XL racks cope with the cable management issues of high-density environments with new and improved features such:

  • Four large cable egress knock-outs in the rack’s top;

  • Two cable pass-through egresses at the bottom on each side, to accommodate cable access above floor level (particularly in the absence of a raised floor);

  • A large opening at the bottom, extending the entire cabinet depth;

  • Built-in RackiTie cable-management slots on 8 horizontal crossbars running on both sides of the rack, front-to-back;

  • Optional vertical wire channels allow grouping cables neatly, yet having them easily branch out at any desired height.

Locking, removable side panels require no tools to install, and perforated doors provide maximum ventilation and visibility to rack mounted equipment

Tool-less doors and side panels allow for quick removal, and make completing your rack installation quick and easy.

Side panels get unlocked by releasing a unique quick-release finger latch, then they swing-open on hinges for quick and easy access from either side, for easy maintenance of installed equipment.

Comit-XL racks may be ordered with front and rear mesh doors that – in conjunction with the optional exhaust fan – offer optimal ventilation in support of next generation servers.

Solid and functional structure offer incredible strength and quality of design

The Comit-XL racks have been built with strength in mind. The frame of the Comit-XL rack is a fully welded 14 gauge steel structure, reinforced with four crossbars running the entire depth on each side, providing high structural integrity, which enables the rack to hold up to 2,000 lbs of equipment.

A unique design allows for using leveling feet and casters in conjunction, while maintaining a low profile.

Use the casters to easily move the rack around.  Once in place – easily adjust the height of the leveling feet (conveniently from inside the rack) to steadily position the rack – the casters get raised off the floor and the rack gets perfectly leveled where you positioned it and doesn’t move.
