Mount heavy equipment onto a 2-post rack with extra rear support

When you need to mount a heavy 1U piece of equipment to a 2-post rack and want to avoid its sagging - Rackit's Rear-Mount Support Kit comes to the rescue.

Rackit's Rear-Mount Support Kit is designed to work with 2-post racks such as Rackit's VersaRack, Strandit 85 or Standard Relay Rack, to provide additional rear support for any front-mounting equipment.

Attached to the back side of a 2-post-rack's uprights, Rackit's Rear-Mount Support Kit supports the mounting of heavy equipment (that typically requires 4-post-mounting) onto a 2-post rack by providing a surface for the equipment to rest on at the back-end of the rack.

Note: The rack must have mounting holes on the back side of its uprights.

With a weight capacity of 100 lbs. you can use the Rear-Mount Support Kit both in the front and the back of a 2-post rack, creating a 'virtual shelf' for mounting equipment of up to 200 lbs. (equally distributed weight).

Whether your 2-post rack is fitted with cage nuts, slip nuts or pre-tapped holes, Rackit's Rear-Mount Support Kit is compatible with any 2-post Telco rack that supports mounting holes on both sides of its uprights.
